Primary site of coverage is Christ Medical Center, the largest of Advocate hospitals. It serves as a large oncology referral center, Level 1 trauma center and has pediatric radiology services. We partner with some of the best breast surgeons in the Chicagoland area providing services for Christ Medical Center’s dedicated outpatient women’s imaging clinic in Oaklawn. South Hub Radiology also provides services for South Suburban Hospital, High Tech and Advocate Medical Group clinics in the southern suburbs.

lnterventional Radiologist - Partnership Track
Job Description
Looking to join a fast-paced group of eager, intelligent, and collegial radiologists in a physician owned, subspecialized practice? South Hub Radiology (SHR) is seeking a fellowship-trained, BE/BC interventional radiologist for a full-time, partnership track position in southwest Chicago. The candidate can expect to perform a wide range of interventional procedures including dialysis access, DVT/PE interventions, trauma interventions, arterial and venous embolizations, interventional oncology (Y90, TACE, and ablation), TIPS, vertebral augmentation, pediatric interventions, and more. Our section includes four experienced interventional radiologists and two excellent midlevel providers. We are devoted to longitudinal clinical care including inpatient rounding and outpatient clinic and are looking for applicants with similar dedication to providing excellent patient care and comprehensive service to our referring providers. Approximately 80% of your time will be dedicated to interventional radiology while approximately 20% will be dedicated to general diagnostic radiology..
Our group provides imaging services at four separate locations including two hospitals and two outpatient imaging centers. As a part of the interventional radiology team, you will spend all of your time between the two hospital sites. We have an excellent working relationship with our referring providers including hepatobiliary, thoracic, transplant, and trauma surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists, pulmonologists, OB/GYNs, and urologists and meet with them weekly at a variety of multidisciplinary conferences including hepatobiliary, colorectal, and thoracic tumor board. We also have a great working relationship with our nurses and technologists and frequently meet outside of work for happy hours, holiday parties and other celebratory events.
Position Summary:
- Board certified/board eligible, either fellowship-trained in interventional radiology
- Strong interpersonal skills with desire to develop service lines / grow the business Partnership track.
